Job Description

We are currently looking for an Advanced Social Worker to work within Adult & Health Services. The vacancy is based in the East London.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload which may include the more vulnerable users or those with a variety of problems, including taking action in relation to liberty or safety of users in emergency situations.

Make appropriate assessments of individuals’ social care needs in collaboration with health and other care agencies, taking into account the wishes of individuals and their carers.

Plan relevant responses to meet individuals’ needs, co-operating with relatives, carers, friends, health services and other care agencies.

Candidates are required to hold a clear enhanced CRB, references covering the last 5 years and a full CV covering and explaining any gaps in your employment history and also having the reasons for leaving previous posts.

Candidates need to be registered with the General Social Care Council.
