We are currently looking for a Qualified Social Worker to work within Children\'s Services. The vacancy is based in the South London.

Job Purpose:

To provide the social work service of assessment of need, care planning and, as appropriate, child protection investigation.

To prevent the separation of children from their families wherever possible and appropriate.

To ensure children and young people are adequately protected in line with the SCPC and departmental policy and procedures and relevant legislation. - To ensure that children reach their full potential and have equal access to services availableHolding or working towards PQ higher / advanced.

Relevant experience in R & A, CP or LAC - can manage complex cases with minimal support.

Candidates are required to hold a clear enhanced CRB, references covering the last 5 years and a full CV covering and explaining any gaps in your employment history and also having the reasons for leaving previous posts.

Candidates need to be registered with the General Social Care Council.
