Job Description

A new role has been created within transactional banking services for a commercial qualified accountant.

Accountabilities:

- Deliver reporting of Management and Financial MI. Support the performance review within the business unit, analysing and interpreting financial information, providing insight and delivering action

- Enable an improved understanding of the financial implications of decisions, by defining and directing the financial information, analysis and interpretation required

- Deliver the planning and forecasting programmes which both meet the Business Unit and Divisional requirements and challenging the underlying drivers

- - Facilitate the application of Finance policies and procedures within the business unit, monitoring adherence to policies by management, and ensuring the business units remain fully compliant with all finance related regulatory and statutory requirements

- Support the delivery of new business initiatives and provision of advice, review and challenge. Ongoing project accounting and benefits tracking

- Understand the business units revenue and cost drivers, and use these to maximise business opportunities, manage change and evaluate

enhancement opportunities

Key Capabilities / Knowledge:

- Business orientation, with a good understanding of the key drivers, issues, and constraints of business

- Experience of proactively operating with business managers to provide and interpret the full provision of financial support provided

- Strong ability to influence and communicate across all levels and areas

- Qualified Accountant
