An exciting opportunity has arisen within a team that is responsible for all MI reporting of actuals and forecasts, supporting the business units within the business areas.

The Consolidation team coordinate and report on the consolidated position for purposes of reporting within the business including FSA and GAPs requests.

You will support the provision of all consolidated forecast and planning reporting on the business units and reporting to wider finance community as appropriate.

The Role

Providing delivery of forecast results relating to the consolidated Finance Group by working closely with business units, finance and divisional representatives. You will also be key in ensuring that the results of the area are understood and appropriately communicated at Business Unit and Divisional level, as well as to external parties such as the FSA and in respect of GAPS reporting.

This role requires understanding of accounting and regulatory reporting for multiple business areas within the area and requires interpretation of complex forecast reporting requirements and communication and coordination of such within the local finance community and other business partners.

Responsible for delivery and coordination of consolidated forecast outputs, incorporating stress testing, capital forecasting and synergy tracking to meet the requirements of the whole area and you will be required to build relationships with the business managers within SFG and at Wholesale division level.

You will also be responsible for supporting the Consolidation Manager in the development of robust forecasting procedures and MI forecast reporting packs for the area and embedding these in BAU procedures, along with co-ordination and supporting resolution of ad-hoc queries in relation to forecasting (including support of FSA reporting)
