An excellent opportunity has arisen to join and interesting and acquisitive company in Edinburgh city centre. Initially, this will be on a 6 month fixed term contract although a permanent opportunity does exist for the right person.

Heading up a team of 5, you will have responsibility for the financial reporting side of the business, so will oversee all management and statutory reporting and group consolidations.

We are seeking someone with a background in a high-volume transactions business and who can manage people effectively.

Due to fragmented and under-performing systems, you must have a track record in improving financial processes and have a good understanding of how systems hang together. Some systems implementation experience would be useful.
