Job Description

We are currently looking for a Qualified Social Worker to work within Children Services. The vacancy is based in West London.

S/he will attend Child Protection conferences or Children in Need meetings as appropriate where she will offer an expert view on the level of risk experienced by the children and advise on appropriate child protection plans

S/he will devise and offer training to social work teams on domestic violence, the impact of this on children and improving outcomes for children who are living with domestic violence.

S/he will be available to offer training on domestic violence to statutory and non statutory agencies, via the ACPC training and development programme

S/he will produce data on domestic violence and children for the Ealing ACPC/Safeguarding Board and other fora as appropriate

Candidates are required to hold a clear enhanced CRB, references covering the last 5 years and a full CV covering and explaining any gaps in your employment history and also having the reasons for leaving previous posts.

Candidates need to be registered with the General Social Care Council.
