This company, who specialise in providing integrated highways network maintenance services throughout the UK, are looking at strengthening their bridge/structural team by recruiting a Deputy Technical Director for their south western maintenance contract.

Based in Exeter, the deputy technical director will be responsible for structures investigation including special sections, specialist investigations and research. The position will involve managing the structures investigation team to ensure that all work is carried out on time and with in budget. You will be responsible for performance reviews, client liaison and the identification of structures requiring investigation currently and for the future.

The ideal candidate will
• have a proven background in bridge design in the UK
• Be a chartered (either MICE or MIStructE)
• Have experience in the investigation of highways structures
