Our North Wales County Council client has tasked Cobalt Recruitment to find a Chartered Engineer to join their team on an interim contract.

We require a Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) with experience or knowledge of coastal or flood management. The ideal applicant will have experience of European Funding and Welsh Assembly Government Grant Aid procedures and audit requirements or equivalent as the key aspect of the role will be acting as Client Project Manager for a £10m coastal defence scheme.

Key skill requirements:
• Knowledge of flood and coastal risk management.
• Ability to analyse and present complex information in a clear and concise format
• Ability to manage a programme of work including planning, monitoring and evaluation with minimum supervision
• Knowledge of EU Procurement Directives (OJEU)
• Knowledge of European Funding and Welsh Assembly Government Grant Aid procedures and audit requirements or equivalent
