Job Description
Cobalt Recruitment client’s, a South West based local authority, are seeking to recruit a Mechanical and Electrical Clerk of Works who will be responsible for inspection works being carried out under a construction contract. This temporary assignment will be for a 5 month period subject to extension as the project is due to continue into the middle of 2011. It is important you need to be CRB cleared and previous experience of working in the Education sector will be preferred. You must also possess a valid CSCS Card.
• Monitoring the progress of works in accordance with the contractors and/or project managers
• Prepare performance reports on contractors and consultants
• Assist in the day to day interpretation of the contract documents
• Carry out checks on the contractors stated quality and/or safety management system
