Job Description
To communicate and liaise with Local Planning Authorities and other strategic bodies including the Government Offices and RDA’s to facilitate and progress Bidders’ estate and planning solutions;
To facilitate and assist Bidders in taking forward their potential estates and planning solutions to achieve the overall objectives of the DTR programme
To ensure that effective external and internal working relationships are established and maintained with Bidders, the DTR IPT and those organisations and bodies relevant to the work of the DTR Rationalisation Programme.
Educated to degree level or equivalent and hold corporate membership of the RTPI.
At least 5 years professional experience at a senior level of planning work including policy planning, master planning and development control.
Knowledge and awareness of the new Planning Act.
