Job Description
A Local Authority in Bedfordshire requires an experienced planner urgently to join their major applications team. You be assisting the Principal Planner in leading a team in the Development Control Group comprising two planning officers and a trainee planner. The post holder will primarily be responsible for managing the throughput of major planning applications and representing the Council at Appeals under the direction of the Development Control Manager and the Principal planner within one of two teams of professional planning officers, ensuring effective service provision and compliance with Council policies and practices.
