Experience in the public or private sector, financial management, a track record of working at corporate level and developing good working relationships with a wide range of differing clients. The ability to translate plans into reality and a history of achieving results at both operational and strategic level.

To encourage economic growth and provide excellent services to citizens within the Borough is seeking to create a greener, safer, cleaner, better quality environment that is attractive to investors and popular with residents.

Area Environment Managers will lead a team of Zone Managers supervising public realm staff and take responsibility for performance of external contractors covering a range of tasks including cleansing, portering, waste services, and environmental maintenance services within a designated area of the borough, working with other Area Environmental managers within the borough to deliver a ‘seamless service’ across a range of street scene operations.
