Job Description
This post is based in their forward planning them to:
Progress the Replacement Unitary Development Plan (public inquiry expected in autumn 2005).
Prepare Action Area plans and Supplementary Planning Documents under the new planning system.
You may also be involved regional issues, such as the new Regional Spatial Strategy for the North West.
You will be a qualified planner who is innovative, a natural net-worker and a committed team worker. You will also have good IT and customer care skills and a sound technical planning background. An appointment will be made within the grade appropriate to previous experience and skills.
