Principle Transport Engineer VAC - 16205
North-West London
£25.00 LTD (Negotiable)
A large Council in North-West London is seeking a Principle Engineer to join their Planning and Transportation team on a long term contract.
You will be responsible for providing the highways and transportation input necessary to determine planning applications (including pre-application advice) and assess and evaluate other development proposals, including traffic and safety engineering schemes throughout the Borough.
This includes making written recommendations and ensuring that recommendations are implemented; authorizing section 38 adoptions and maintain the highways register with respect to this and negotiating S278 agreements as part of planning obligations agreed for development proposals
With a minimum of 5 years (preferably) UK experience in traffic engineer/ development control/ transport planning, you will have worked in Transportation development control assessing major applications, monitoring section 106 implementation and will ideally have a valid driving license.
