Job Description
We are looking for Service Technicians to work on both light and heavy goods vehicles for this prestigious company who offer support and training second to none. A superb company to work for offering excellent benefits and certainly one of the best in the industry.
A good dealership background is essential, although not necessarily in a commercial environment. You must also be able to work on your own initiative without supervision
You must have a full City and Guilds (Pt 1, 2 & 3) in motor vehicle technology or equivalent.
Duties will include:
Repairing and servicing vehicle booked into the workshop
Diagnosing faults on vehicles
Carrying out warranty repairs to manufacturers guidelines
Stripping, fitting and replacing components on vehicles
Dealing with customer queries
Ensuring that all jobs are running smoothly and deadlines are met
Examine vehicles completely and report orally and in writing upon the condition, roadworthiness and safety
You must be resident in the UK at time of this advertisement and hold any necessary work permits.
