Job Description
This well established motor trade company based in Middlesex are seeking to employ a Junior Parts Advisor to work within a busy Parts Department, this motor trade company offer superb training with excellent hands on assistance.
The ideal applicant should have basic parts advisor experience within the motor trade and be able to work well under pressure. Our client use an in-house system so accurate key skills are a must. You must be able to deal with everything from inbound calls, taking the order to processing, picking the order and liaising with the despatch department to complete the order. You will be working as part of a friendly team and must be able to work under pressure, be hard working and a team player.
Duties will include:
Receiving incoming calls from both retail and trade customers
Identifying the relevant parts
Advising customers of the cost and availability
Booking parts out to workshop to enable technicians to complete workload
Ensuring stock levels are kept to a sufficient level
Re-ordering of all parts
Responsible for raising invoices and taking payment.
You must have a minimum of 6 months previous parts experience within the motor industry, be confident whilst dealing with customer over the telephone and face-to-face, whilst being organised and able to multi task coupled with excellent communication skills.
