Job Description

Based in this extremely busy Independent Bodyshop, the successful applicant would ideally have had a minimum of 1 years experience working within a Motor Trade meeting allocated targets.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

This person is to take full responsibility for the physical organisation, direction & control for the body shop reception and administration functions and the staff members therein. This person is to set objectives and operating standards for this area of the business and in addition set staff objectives, measure, direct and where required train and coach areas for improvement. Above all you must be a true champion of customer satisfaction.

Key duties:-

Staff direction, control and performance measurement
The delivery of high consistent levels of departmental customer handling and service levels
You will be the focal point for customer satisfaction and the interface and mediator as and when customer complaints arise
Identify and present operational solutions where the performance of other departments impacts upon the smooth running of your department and or customer satisfaction
Customer vehicle repair updates and communication
Review the current departmental administration and reception process controls and present plans for improvement
Hold departmental staff meetings to discuss, identify and implement customer improvements
Review the current department telephone handling techniques, and present plans for improvement where required
Achieve company operational and business performance targets
Ensure your work ethics and the manner in which you manage your department and present yourself to customers are professional at all times
Ensure effective time management at all times, being able to demonstrate successful and consistent departmental planning and prioritisation of workload
