Job Description
To assist the strategic planning and
regeneration process by: assembling and collating appropriate data and information; maintaining an
information database; providing information to inform management of current trends.
The ideal candidate doesn't require to have worked within a Town Planning department as the skills are more focussed on systems rather than
Town Planning policies, but experience would be useful.
Experience of MS Access & MS Excel are essential as the worker will need to analyse and manipulate databases.
The following databases are used within Town Planning:-
GIS
National Land use Database
Housing Capacity system
Please note that experience in these areas are not essential, but experience would be desirable
