Job Description
A leading construction, maintenance, and operation of telecoms networks company currently requires cable jointers / Telecoms Test Engineers (First Stage) to join their Birmingham and Wolverhampton division.
The role will involve working on the telecoms project, interfacing with the end user, identifying faults and carrying out the required maintenance where necessary.
We are seeking candidates with previous experience in a similar role as a jointer.
The following would be an advantage:
-Knowledge of fault ID techniques and use of test instruments.
-Skilled in IDC and Cable Installation techniques
-Skilled in Joint Closures
-Installation techniques in the Access network
-Knowledge of E & E Side Access infrastructure
-Ability to interpret Access Network plans
Candidates must have a Driving
licence (min B licence standard)
BT accreditation and NRSWA training available but an advantage if already completed.
