Job Description
PROPERTY MANAGER
Location: West End, London
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: £18-20p/h
Working within this worldwide financial organisation; as the Property Manager you will support the Senior Property Manger in managing a dedicated portfolio of properties in an external client fund team. All services are to be provided efficiently and effectively with appropriate tenant liaison and in line with best practice procedures. The external client funds are rapidly expanding and the portfolios cover all sectors of the UK. Your principal accountabilities will be to:
- Assist in the presentation of client quarterly reports for internal and external purposes
- To liaise effectively with internal colleagues to ensure clear and effective client reporting
- Responsible for processing tenant applications efficiently and in a timely manner
- To ensure all service charge work is carried out in accordance with delegated authorities and that expenditure is properly budgeted and recovered from tenants
- Prepare and maintain service charge budgets, in accordance with a prescribed timetable
- Finalise service charge year end accounts, including raising any journals
- To communicate regularly with all tenants and undertake site inspections on a quarterly basis to monitor properties and identify opportunities
- Liaise with Fund’s solicitors over tenant matters and transactions
The post holder will be required to work to a high standard of professional competence and efficiency; the ability to communicate effectively; have a strong commercial awareness.
