By developing relationships with the Environment Agency and investing substantial time and money into increasing private development contracts, several clients are looking to increase the number of Flood Defence and Risk Assessment Engineers. Projects can range from NECCA Framework assignments to Private Development Drainage and Flood Defence work. This area of Engineering is particularly specialist and it is essential that certain skills have been developed and levels of competence achieved.

Engineers with skills in modelling packages such as Hec-Ras, Mike11, ISIS and Mike21 are particularly sought. Similarly, if you have experience of Flood Risk Assessments and knowledge of the Flood Estimation Handbook, your CV will be well received.

Many of our client’s projects are in the early stages. This means that they are primarily looking for skilled Engineers with a minimum of 3 years experience. Senior level posts will be recruited for before graduate level positions but we are still looking for committed and focused individuals who wish to increase their knowledge and expertise in the Flood Defence area.
