Job Description
LANDLORD & TENANT SURVEYOR
Location: West End, London
Duration: Ongoing
Rate: £18-£22p/h
A recognised firm of commercial property consultants requires a Landlord & Tenant Surveyor with 1 years + landlord and tenant work and some valuation knowledge. Ideally you will have a knowledge or understanding of:
- Undertaking property inspections and reading and understanding leases
- Ability to prepare draft reports and letters which are grammatically correct and in an agreed style for review by line manager
- An aptitude for negotiations is particularly important
- Private sector or occupational property background
- Acting on behalf of occupiers/tenants
- Evidence of having negotiated with other agents rather than unrepresented tenants
- General understanding or some experience of dilapidations cases
- Ability to read¸ understand and paraphrase documents
- Confident and presentable in meetings
- Good IT skills – knowledge of word¸ excel/spreadsheets etc
You will be someone that is positive¸ articulate¸ motivated; able to work well under guidance rather than constant supervision. The ability to interact with other team members to contribute to enjoyable working environment; with the flexibility to work additional hours if required.
