Basic Requirements:

BSW/MSW Social Work degree
Be eligible for registration with the Welsh Social Care Council
Internship level to 10 years post graduate experience

Compensation:

Salaries are based on experience and reflective of the lifestyle and cost of living in Wales. Relocation assistance and Work Permits will be provided to successful applicants. There are a total of 15 vacancies. Vacancies are available for new graduates as well as experienced individuals looking for Senior Practitioner roles.

About the Social Service:

The Social Services Department is one of the 7 Departments in this Borough Council. The Department takes requests for help from the person concerned or anyone with an interest in that person's welfare, such as friends, relatives, neighbours, health service staff and police. The Department seeks to ensure that services are directed at those people in most need, and that everyone is treated equitably and fairly.
The Department employs approximately 750 staff and is split into 3 Divisions, Children's Services, Community Care and Performance & Partnerships.
