Job Description
A massive chance with a global leader in engineering and environmental consultancy services.
The waste consultant should have 3 to 4 years relevant experience within consultancy/local authority/contractor.
Your technical skills and experience waste and resource management policy and legislation. Experience in the development of waste strategies (eg preparation of municipal waste management strategies) for local authorities. Experience in undertaking waste audits.
Experience in preparation of waste impact assessments for new developments as part of EIA/ES. Familiar with sustainable waste management techniques (MRF, MBT, in -vessel composting, AD, EfW) and knowledge of the construction/operation of waste management facilities would be useful. Experience in the assessment of contaminated land and waste classification.
You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with project management skills including effective time management with an acute commercial awareness.
