Job Description

Prestige commercial motor trade dealership is looking for an experienced Auto Technician with at least 1 – 2 years recent main dealer experience, fully qualified to NVQ standard.

Duties include:

· Repairing and servicing vehicle booked into the workshop

· Diagnosing faults on vehicles

· Carrying out warranty repairs to manufacturers guidelines

· Stripping, fitting and replacing components on vehicles

· Dealing with customer queries

· Ensuring that all jobs are running smoothly and deadlines are met

· Pre-delivery Inspections are carried out at this site

· MOT inspections

· Liaising with customers and service reception staff

· Reporting verbally and written all faults and findings

The working week consists of 39 hours broken down into shift patterns between 6.00am and 10.00pm (shift allowance up to £10.00 per day)
