Job Description

We are looking for experienced Service Technicians with a background on heavy diesel engines, trucks and PSV’s for this prestigious company who offer support and training second to none. A superb company to work for offering an excellent salary along with a fantastic package. This company is certainly one of the best commercial dealers in the industry with a modern state of the art Workshop.

You must be a fully qualified Motor Vehicle Technician. A HGV licence would be a distinct advantage but not essential.

Duties and Responsibilities;

Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicle including trailers to the Ministry of Transport standard.
To be able to diagnose and rectify all types of faults.
To comply with laws and local regulations intended to prevent injury and accidents within the workshop.
To ensure that protective clothing and safety boots are worn at all times.
Housekeeping, including the care of special tools to be maintained to the Mercedes standard.
To leave customers’ vehicles in a clean and tidy condition on completion of maintenance.
To be available to attend road-side breakdowns as and when required.
To be courteous to customers at all times.
To report all incidents (broken tools etc.) to the workshop foreman.
To ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality.
