Job Description

This independent Body Shop are seeking to recruit a Claims Advisor. This is a very varied and interesting role and you will need to take responsibility for your own workload. You will be investigating claims, liaising with internal and external staff, advising policyholders and working with the team to beat targets. Your duties will also include;

To pursue legitimate third party claims where the client has no liability, maintaining speed, cost and the company’s reputation.
Build relationships with third party of their representative via the phone, in order to assess the claim, keeping costs to a minimum.
Identify all legitimate aspects of the claim, obtain all relevant documentation and using the appropriate medium, negotiate a fair and reasonable settlement with the third party or their representatives; maintaining customer service standards and the company’s reputation.

Previous experience working within a customer service environment is essential. Previous knowledge within motor claims would be beneficial preferably with experience of recovery and third party.
