Job Description

We are looking for a principle transport planner with a strong background in rail to fill a long term and high profile role in North London This is a principle role for someone with a strong knowledge of rail. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years experience within transport planning and have the initiative and drive to develop the area which comes under public transport & regeneration. the role will be focusing purely on rail. You will co-ordinating meetings with other boroughs, representing the authority in inter-borough meetings. You will be responsible for liaising with TFl and then feeding this info back to the relevant memebers. You will also be the main contact to brief the press. You must have a good understanding of the political implications that rail has within London. This is a long term contract and is a very high profile role within the authority
