Job Description
A Local Authority in North West London seeks a Development Control officer for a 3 month contract with the possibility to extend. The Client is looking for a Planner who ideally has 6 months UK Local Authority experience, as they will need to hit the ground running. The post is in the Neighbourhood team and you will be dealing with a wide range of applications including Residential, Listed Buildings and Lawful development certificates. You will also have the opportunity to carry a caseload of Appeals, which will also lead to being an expert witness in informal hearings and Public Inquiries. Alongside these duties, you will be advising to the Public, Councillors and Developers on pre-applications and design. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Planner looking for a new challenge and to gain invaluable skills for the future.
