Job Description

A Local Authority in Hillingdon requires a Team Leader for their Major Applications team. You will have at least 8 years UK Town Planning experience, with at least 3 of those years in a Supervisory post. The role demands someone with the experience of negotiation, complex planning applications, Committee and liaison with other Government bodies. You will be directly responsible for the supervision of Major applications Planners and one assistant, you will need to be competent in the performance management and motivation of the Planners, and up hold excellent customer sevice. The post will see you getting involved in staff training, checking Committee reports and make sure Government set deadlines are achieved. You will need to be able to prioritise, work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly at public hearings and other such meetings. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Planner with the desired experience to further their career in a forward thinking environment.
