A Local Authority in Harrow seeks a Senior Planner within the Committee Team for a 3-4 month contract, with the possibility of an extension. The role involves the processing of a wide range of Planning applications, Planning Appeals and assistance with the Enforcement of Planning control. You will be a Planner with at least 3 years UK experience and have membership of the RTPI. For this role you need to be familiar with the preparation of reports for Major applications, be able to negotiate with developers to achieve satisfactory proposals, and liasion with Committee members and other Planning groups. The Appeals area of the job focuses on the technical aspects of the Appeal caseloads. Including the preparation of Appeal statements,proofs of evidence, written representations and hearings. You will also be given the opportunity to work with Planning Solicitors on Enforcement and related matters.
