Job Description

The requirement has come about through our client securing 2 additional Design & Build projects of £23m and £25m.

The sites are both brownfield ones and are currently in the process of demolition and site clearance. On one there will be a partial facade retention, whilst on the other it will be a clean sweep.

Overall there will be a mixture of private and affordable housing in both projects.

New double basements to incorporate car parking facilities, with commercial outlets at ground floor level and residential accommodation in the upper 9 and 14 floors respectively will complete the schemes.

There will be access routes, site services, enabling works, landscaping packages, infrastructure, brick and blockwork, cladding for the externals; whilst the internal packages will see the project through to final handover, including all fit out, cladding, M&E and glazing, painting,flooring,carpeting and tiling.

Ideally with a formal Quantity Surveyor qualification you will have a proven track record of working on similar projects for contractor or main contractor, being commercially aware with the necessary skills to plan ahead and ensure a smooth supply schedule for the duration.

It is anticipated that the company will be increasing this sector of their work and those people joining at this stage will find that they are joining an established company with 40 years experience of working in the London environment.
