Job Description

You will be responsible for setting-up and controlling an efficient MX highway design process for major road infrastructure projects.

This leading international multidisciplinary currently require an MX Engineer or Senior technician who will be responsible for setting-up and controlling an efficient MX highway design process for major road infrastructure projects.

He/she will report directly to the Lead Engineer and will liaise with other members of the team, in particular CAD operators. The postholder will principally be responsible for the managing of the audit trail of project MX design files, the day to day management of Documents and files, the designing of minor elements of highway design with minimum supervision, the designing of major elements of highway design under the direction of the lead engineer, liaising with other disciplines to ensure that the whole team is using the latest design information and the keeping up to date with current developments in MX and related technology. there may also be some training of Graduate Engineers in the use of MX.

Applicants will have knowledge and experience of Highway Design, preferably with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the use of MX. They will be computer literate in associated computer technology and programmes. have good communication skills, both verbally & written and experience in resolving hardware and software problems.
