Job Description

Construction Manager and Finishes/QA compliance Manager working within a team of 10-12 Site based managers supported by a further 10 project staff. The Construction Manager candidates will report to the Senior Construction Manager and will manage their own Core of between 20 and 40 apartments from first fix to finals. The Finishes managers will fine tune the individual apartments to a high standard for acceptance by the Client.. The position requires a good knowledge of QA and health & safety procedures and the ability to supervise and push sub-contractors in order to achieve handovers. The majority of the work involves on site supervision and preparing progress meetings and general day to day site management duties. You will ideally have a working knowledge of concrete and brickwork and can undertake the contract administration of trade packages, maintain daily diaries and chair weekly
meeting with the trade contractors to review performance of quality, safety and progress.
You should also be capable of making safety and quality inspection on the site liasing with the team of site managers and surveyors within the existing team. Processing and chasing RFI with the design team.
