Based on the south side of London, this local authority building services team is currently looking to take on an additional team member in order to complete a specific project.

The engineer will be required to take control of the design for the electrical installations package in this listed building which will become an educational establishment.

The design work will focus on fire alarms, entry systems, lighting and small power supplies.

The engineer will be responsible for tender documentation for the project and by the end of the contract the scheme should be ready for the implementation stage.

Our client is seeking an experienced engineer – preferably with around 10 years experience in the industry.

Previous experience with the design of electrical installations is an essential requirement for this position.

Applicants must be capable of taking control of this project on arrival and as a result all engineers must be confident and independent.

Experience with producing specifications to NES standards is highly desirable for this role.

Applicants must be computer literate and proficient with AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT.

Although this is initially just a 4 week contract, the client has informed us that for a ‘job well done’ there will be the potential to move around the team on a longer term basis dealing with a variety of projects.
