Our client an International Engineering Consultancy employing over 50,000 worldwide is seeking to recruit 8 structural engineers for its Research, Development & Technology office in South Yorkshire.

Employing over 800 engineers within Research, Development & Technology my client offers top class innovation with cutting edge technology to deliver construction and building solutions in a constantly changing world.

The construction department provides expertise on structural designs, assesses the performance of structures and develops new products for use in construction. This can be in a wide range of areas to include roofing, flooring, modular buildings, bridges, frames, piling, fire safety and many more. The engineers are provided with the resources and technology to develop prototypes and assess their own ideas on how to improve and develop products and systems for building design.

Applications are therefore required from engineers who are innovative, able to liase with construction industry customers, be able to sell ideas both externally and internally, be able to lead a broad range of design projects from short term business funded technical queries to major European technical development programmes. You must also be educated to Bsc / Msc in Civil / Structural engineering, have a minimum 3 years experience in a consultancy / contractor environment and be biased towards building design.

The basic salary will range from £28000 to £45000 depending on your experience. In addition my client will offer professional training, Final Salary Pension, Private Medical Insurance, Share Ownership Schemes, 35 days holiday per year, relocation packages and other benefits.
