The construction operation is organised around four strategic businesses: Affordable Housing, Retail, Construction and Interiors.

We currently have a requirement for an additional team member to join a project in North- East Kent. The role can be adjusted to suit the successful applicant’s level of skills, so a Senior or Site Manager would both be considered and their potential contribution evaluated.

The Project.

Essentially the role requires someone with main contractor experience to join this £22m project, completion date June 2006, to work on specific areas / packages or to take charge of 1-2 blocks in entirety. The work is primarily on halls of residence and associated buildings, with varying circular shapes and configurations. Coming from a commercial, schools or all round background you are likely to qualify, whereas a purely residential track record would not suffice in this role.

Your pedigree.

You will probably have come from a trades background and will have bags of enthusiasm and energy, be aware of the importance of being a team member and be able to make a positive contribution to this project. You will have worked on projects in excess of £5m, where there are considerable architectural challenges in the construction that in turn lead to challenges both in the building and the finishing timetables.
