Job Description

We require qualified and experienced social workers for Staffordshire. You should be registered with the GSCC or in the process of complete registration.

With a population of just over 800,000 Staffordshire is the seventh largest Shire County in England. Located in the industrial heartland of Britain positioned between Manchester and Birmingham Staffordshire is a beautiful tree-covered county with a rich heritage and several thousand hectares of unspoilt countryside, home to the finest shopping, food and drink and many miles of country walks.

The Peak District in Staffordshire is a popular tourist area of Midland / Northern England and the location of England's first National Park. Staffordshire is dotted with historical attractions such as Chatsworth house with its famous works of art, spectacular fountains and gardens, Stanton Manor home to Bronze Age inhabitants of the area and natural wonders such as Poole’s Cavern and scenic valleys created by the rivers Wye, Derwant and Manifold.

There are vacancies available in the following areas:

-Looked After Children team
-Child Protection, intake and assessment

You may also have to do court work and must have experience working with Children and Families in a child protection, family protection environment.
