This is an opportunity to have a degree of responsibility, whilst having an Engineer trained Project Manager to guide and support you.

The work involves extensive excavation, major earthworks and groundworks, temporary and permanent drainage and is in the medium sized civils end of the market.

Working with GPS you will need to be fit as this is a large site and the work will entail moving about the site to stay ahead of the subcontractors. The project runs for 15 – 17 weeks.

Preferably you will have a minimum of 2 years site experience since graduating, and have a recognised construction related qualification. Preferably with a CSCS card, NRSWA qualified, and optionally a First Aid certificate.

Experience with either a main contractor or a sub-contractor will be equally relevant. So long as you have a good understanding of what is involved in the civils elements of construction. A good working knowledge of CAD would be advantageous, a more senior candidate may suit so long as you possess the minimum skills listed.

The work will probably be based on a 6 day working week, and additional weekend work may be required in certain situations. You will need a car to access the site. An option is open for a freelance or permanent candidate.
