Assistant Finance Business Partner12 Month Fixed Term ContractSalary: £32,000 - £38,000 plus benefits and bonusAn outstanding opportunity has arisen for a highly commercial accountant with excellent interpersonal skills to join a leading financial services company in Edinburgh for 12 months. The role sits within a high profile business area. Core ResponsibilitiesThe core responsibilities of this role are as follows:· Delivering insightful financial performance analysis;· Supporting the monthly performance review and analysing and interpreting financial information · Delivering month end reporting, including any associated journals required, fee analysis, preparation of MI and supporting commentary;· Developing a clear understanding of the underlying business and its key drivers to support the delivery of insightful financial analysis;· Developing and maintaining a wide-range of internal contacts in order to establish and maintain knowledge of best practice;· Obtain information from and deliver information to other finance units as required, agreeing outputs and deliverables and identifying process enhancement to increase operational efficiency and ensure data integrity of financial information;· Performing delegated tasks for projects affecting the local area as defined by senior management, to achieve agreed deliverables within the required time.Key SkillsThe key skills required for this role are as follows:· Must be a qualified accountant with 1 to 3 years PQE· Strong communication skills are critical in the role· Analytical skillsAssistant Finance Business Partner12 Month Fixed Term ContractSalary: £32,00
