Job Description
A busy Bedfordshire council urgently needs a Town Planner to lead a team in the Development Control Group comprising two enforcement officers, a technician and a trainee planner. The post holder will primarily be responsible for managing the Planning Enforcement function and representing the council at Appeals under the direction of the Development Control Manager. Other responsibilities will be for the creation of Tree Preservation Orders and the determination of all matters relating to preserved trees.
The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role, but experience DC Officers would be considered.
