Preferably with a trades background and a minimum of 6 - 8 years relevant site experience you will have previously had considerable involvement in timber frame construction and will understand the processes involved in programming, sequencing and building a project of this type.

Timber Frame construction experience required for this high quality Residential Developer / Builder currently seeks an experienced Site Manager to take charge of a new build project of 34 flats. Part of a larger development you will be responsible for all the build aspects of this new block from groundworks through to completion & handover in August / September 2006.

A formal qualification or trade certificates would be advantageous. Consideration would also be given to candidates who have a professional or technical background and can demonstrate that they have run jobs of this type and have suitable and relevant skills.

CSCS certified, preferably with a First Aid Certification, you will be expected to exhibit an ability to control and co-ordinate trade contractors, ensuring that they work together to produce a quality product, maintaining production targets and programmes.

This is an opportunity to take on a 8 month+ contract on a freelance basis, working 0800 to 1700 Monday to Friday and 0800 to 1300 on Saturday. A permanent option is available for you if you are career orientated. Competitive rates and a good run of work are on offer.
