Job Description

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic individuals to join our 21-bedded Haematology focused ward. The well established In - patient nursing team cover a variety of haematology/oncology procedures such as stem cell transplantation and high dose chemotherapy.

Candidates should be willing to contribute to the continuous development of the ward and advancement in patient - centred care. You must be a good communicator and committed to providing a high standard of care whilst working well as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will have a minimum of 2 years post registration experience with at least 1 year within the speciality.

Registration & Immigration
In order to practice as a Registered General Nurse in the United Kingdom, you will need to register with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC). This process should be commenced at least 6 – 8 months before planning to come to the UK. We strongly recommend that you do not travel to the UK until you have your NMC Statement of Entry, (confirmation of your registration) and your PIN card. All non-EEA nationals must complete the NMC Overseas Nurses Programme. For further information about regarding applications you can visit www.nmc-uk.org


Any non-EEA national seeking entry or permission to remain in the United Kingdom for the purpose of employment will normally require a work permit. Geneva Health International are able to arrange Work Permits for candidates who have accepted permanent positions with NHS / Hospital clients. You are also able to work in the UK if you hold a valid Working Holiday Maker Visa or an Ancestry Visa (issue to commonwealth citizens who have a grandparent born in the UK).
