Clinical Nurse Specialist and Project Lead, Integrated Care (Care of the Dying/Last 48 hours) Pathway. Highly respected and established NHS Hospital is currently looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Project Lead to join their Palliative care team. Within in this friendly and unique environment you will have the opportunity to develop and further your career all the while working with dedicated and professional staff.

The Hospital is currently undergoing regeneration with huge emphasis on the Oncology unit. With the backing of the Trust and the multi-disciplined team you will have the autonomy to carry out your duties whilst inputting new ideas in order to continually improve/update the service.

You will also be responsible to help develop common tools for the Integrated Care (Care of the dying) Pathway. This is a good opportunity to implement and sustain this Pathway locally. In order to maintain the high standards of the Unit you will be required to offer your specialist palliative care advice and support to staff, which will include some direct patient activity.
