Route to Director and partnership with a prestigious property firm.

This is the perfect opportunity for a director or someone at AD level with 2-3 years experience who has plateaued in their career progression. This role would be well suited to an individual who has become frustrated about their lack of scope because the route to director or partnership has closed due to corporate buy-out. If the partnership model appeals to you where promotions are based on merit, this position is the first step. A candidate who generates income for the business and who displays talent and initiative will be well received. Mentoring is a focus of this firm and they would be supportive of the right candidate becoming a partner in due course.

The candidate will be working primarily in the residential and commercial sectors on projects circa £30-100m. The successful candidate should be confident interfacing with demanding high-end clients. These high spec projects will work alongside large residential and commercial developers and local authorities to deliver for high net individuals, corporate end users or for residential portfolios on behalf of pension funds and banks.

Responsibilities

• Planning, management, co-ordination and financial control of a variety of construction projects within the mixed use and high end residential and commercial sectors.


• Utilise a team of skilled senior individuals to deliver complex projects to rigorous time and budgetary constraints.


• Business development including bid preparation and attending tender presentations.


• Take an active role in supporting the existing senior management team to manage existing projects / commissions.


• Mentor and develop existing staff as well as being active in recruiting new staff.

Requirements:

• To currently be in a management position.


• Recent and significant work in the UK market, ideally in the Residential/Commercial sectors.


• Degree qualified and ideally professionally Qualified (MRICS)


• Have experience in the full life cycle of prestigious projects with construction values of circa £20-100m and above.


• Have a proven track record delivering projects for a well respected construction consultancy background.
