Job Description
We have an exciting position available to an experienced policy planner at a North London Borough. You will contribute to the policy team’s objective of achieving their Local Development Framework, responding as necessary to changes in the statutory framework.
You will contribute to the team's research function, by involvement in
monitoring, investigation and analysis of information on planning,
development and related matters, you will also prepare reports and give
presentations of findings where necessary.
You will carry out these responsibilities having regard to the principles of sustainable development and the Local Agenda 21 process, to undertake
sustainability appraisals of policies and development proposals. You may
be required to undertake work outside the office, including site visits and meetings.
Ideally you will have 3 yrs UK experience as a planner in the policy
sector with experience in Sustainability Appraisal.
