Job Description

Reporting to the Buying Manager and working with a team of 2 experienced buyers, liaising with the Quantity Surveyors you would be involved at the outset of projects and would have an important role. Whilst experience as a buyer is preferable for this role, it would be suitable for someone moving up from an assistant / junior / trainee buyer’s post wishing to take further responsibility for the post. A trainee with construction experience who wishes to develop a purchasing career would also be considered.
Your working hours would be 0800 to 1730 x 5 days per week, 20 days holiday per year of which 1 week is taken at Xmas. The salary package would be £28 - £35,000 with benefits, based on experience, plus a company car.
