Job Description
This central London Borough is looking for a Highway engineer to join their team of engineers in cycling schemes in the borough.
The ideal candidate will need the following qualities:
-Ability to carry out feasibility studies for cycling projects.
-Ability to organise and manage meetings with residents, businesses and other organisations.
-Ability to develop cycle link design proposals, carry out option assessments / studies and prepare CRISP reports.
-Good London / UK experience in the design of cycle network schemes(LCN).
-Knowledge of current legislation and design guidelines (LCDS).
-Able to prepare bills of quantity.
-Ability to effectively project manage all aspects of a cycle schemes
programme (LCN+) from inception to completion, including site works /
contractor management
