Our client is looking to recruit a senior scrub nurse who is happy to work in scrub as well as a senior position where you will be supporting the Theatre Manager. This role will require excellent administration skills, both verbal and written and very good team skills as this is a small but well run team where flexibility really counts. It is expected that 70-80% of your role will be surgery related Scrub is essential the rest will be 20-30% administration rota management - phone work, etc. This is day to day management of 3 theatres although only 2 are operational at the moment. The environment is mainly elective surgery and not trauma. If you don't have an ALS then you will be given a short training course upon commencement of employment “Advanced Life Support " Someone with good Hips and Knees experience is ideal. The site handles 30 operations a week at the moment. There is a need for flexibility as there will be 1 or 2 long days per week but all the work is Monday to Friday. 37.5 hr week this is the first step on the ladder for a career minded person and could be a real stepping stone to career advancement for someone that is looking for that real opportunity.
