Job Description

If you like working as part of a team then this client is for you. Our client is a 20 year old female who has two Personal Care Assistants working with her. She lives in a newly adapted house in the West Midlands which allows her to live an independent life and she has many family and friends who live close by - so there is much coming and going. You will need to be a very confident driver if you want to work with this client as going out, shopping, and meeting friends are very important to her. You must be a non-smoker.

As a Personal Care Assistant (PA) you will work with our clients on assignments that last between 1 and 3 weeks. Whilst you are working the client provides food and accommodation and we pay for your travel costs to and from each assignment. Your duties will include general domestic tasks, personal care and toileting.

Active Assistance provides a comprehensive free 5 day training course, so no previous experience is necessary. During the training we also provide free accommodation.

WE HAVE CLIENTS THROUGHOUT ENGLAND AND WALES AND SO THERE ARE LOTS OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOU TO EXPLORE. HERE IS AN EXAMPLE OF ONE OF THE ASSIGNMENTS WE CURRENTLY HAVE:-

You must:-

• Be over 21 years of age (ideally over 25)
• Have a full (Manual/Auto) UK/International Drivers Licence
• Have a valid Work Permit/Visa

The Package:-

• Free 5 day specialist training giving you certificate in First Aid and Caring
• Free board and lodging whilst working
• Structured pay scale increasing with the amount of time you work with us, and with further training up to (£448 per week)
• Opportunities for free UK and Overseas travel
• Support to study towards an NVQ in Direct Care after 6 months service.
